Abigail Rose Wasylyshen, 21 of Camby and her unborn son, Charles Xavier Wasylyshen passed away on the afternoon of Friday, May 26, 2017, as a result of a tragic automobile accident. Abigail was born in Indianapolis, IN, on December 8, 1995, to James A. and Catherine S. (Abrams) Fawcett; both of her parents survive and reside in Mooresville.
On September 21, 2013, Abigail realized the happiest day of her life when she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Duane E.E. Wasylyshen, and he survives. Abigail graduated from Mooresville High School in 2014. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and granddaughter, Abigail was considered to be an overachiever. She worked two jobs, one as a barista at the Starbucks in Camby, and the other as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Millers Merry Manor in Mooresville and The Springs. After completing her pre-requisites at Ivy Tech, she was able to begin working on a Criminology degree via Arizona Tech.
Abigail was an accomplished artist, as well as a musician. She enjoyed gaming, which is an activity that she shared with both her husband and her mother. She lived life to the fullest, and with her colorful spirit and vibrant personality, brought sunshine into everyone’s life that she touched. Everywhere she went, she lit up the room from her colorful speech, to her colorful appearance and actions. She didn’t know a stranger. She spoke her mind always, she didn’t have a filter. She protected her family with every breath, she loved unconditionally.
Abigail and Charles Xavier were preceded in death by Abigail’s maternal grandmother, Virginia (Redding) Abrams.
Abigail and Charles Xavier leave behind to mourn their tragic death, Abigail’s loving husband, Duane Wasylyshen, the father of her two sons, Jackson Dean Alexander and Elijah Raine Wasylyshen; Abigail’s parents, James and Catherine Fawcett; and her biological mother, Sarah (Abrams) Grant, Abigail’s brother, James E.
