Alicia C. Stephens, 47, of Plainfield, passed away at her residence in Plainfield on March 14, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 9, 1969 in Indianapolis to the late Webster and Cristina (Garcia) Smith; her parents preceded her in death. On April 18, 1998 Alicia was united in marriage to her loving husband, Craig L. Stephens and he survives.
Alicia was a loving and caring homemaker, and talented artist of oil, water color, and acrylic paintings. An extraordinary homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, canning, and gardening.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Craig; two sons, Caleb Stephens of Plainfield, and Levi Brown of Fowler, Indiana; three daughters, Julianne Stephens of Plainfield, Arianna Pugel of Indianapolis, and Danielle Pugel of Arkansas; her brother, Christopher Smith of Nebraska; her sister, Jackie Sanders of Cartersburg, Indiana; and her great aunt and uncle, Phillip and Maytha Walker of Indianapolis.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Alicia C. Stephens on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. The memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
