Allan J. Lane

Allan J. Lane, 62, Martinsville, passed away February 14, 2022. Allan was born June 9, 1959, in Martinsville, to the late William Clarence and Shonette Louise (Self) Lane.

He graduated from Martinsville High School in 1978. Allan worked for the Morgan County Highway Department and for Abraham Excavating. He had also been the longtime caretaker for his parents in their later years.

In addition to his parents, Allan was preceded in death by a brother, James Timothy Lane and a sister, Vicky Lou Lane.

Survivors include his nephews, William “Mike” Moore and Roger Lee Moore; nieces, Angela Johnson and Donna Stone; many great nieces and great nephews.

A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in the White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville. Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
