Allen R. Adams

Allen R. “Al” Adams, 62, Mooresville, passed away in his sleep February 4, 2019. Al was born April 14, 1956, in Indianapolis, to the late Robert Grover and Betty (Kreidenweiss) Adams.

Al graduated from his school in Paris, Illinois, and proudly served in the United States Navy. He worked as a senior mechanic for Advanced Technologies at the Caterpillar Plant in Franklin. Al could literally fix anything and had a keen insight into all things mechanical. Additionally, he was the owner and operator of Adams Material Handling and most recently A & L Equipment. He will be fondly remembered for his generous spirit and great sense of humor.

Al’s survivors include his wife, Lori (Meltzer) Adams, to whom he was united in marriage in 1993; a son, Dan Adams (Jordan); daughter, Samantha Adams; brother, Walter Adams (Judy); sister, Ruth Ann Andrews (Russell).

Friends and family will gather from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2019, in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with services and military honors following at 4 p.m. Cremation will follow services.
