Andrew E. Yeager, 48, Indianapolis, passed away suddenly at home February 1, 2018. Andy was born October 19, 1969, in Indianapolis, to Willis “Bill” and Karen (Lantz) Yeager. He married Jennifer (Buckingham) Yeager on October 13, 2001.
Andy graduated from Mooresville High School in 1988 and attended Purdue University and IUPUI. He was employed at Carbonite as a network engineer for the past ten years. An incredibly intelligent person, Andy had an impressive vocabulary and could fix any computer. He was witty, a great cook, and happy spending time on his property and working in his barn. Above all, Andy was a great dad and friend who will be fondly remembered by a loving family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by a son, Alexander Edward Yeager.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Yeager; daughters, Eva Catherine Yeager and Jana Rose Yeager; parents, Bill and Karen Yeager; sisters, Cassandra (Jack) Murphy and Jenny (Dave) Grover; nieces and nephews, Chloe, Alison, Matthew, Jake, Kendall, and Samantha.
Friends and family will gather Tuesday, February 6, 2018, 5 – 8 p.m. and from 10 -11 a.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2018, in the First United Methodist Church, 900 N. Indianapolis Road, Mooresville. The memorial service to celebrate Andy’s life will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Eva and Jana Yeager Educational Fund, c/o First United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be provided.
