Andrew S. Lacy

Andrew S. Lacy, 44, Mooresville, died August 18, 2013. Andrew was born November 24, 1968, in Danville, Indiana.

He graduated from South Montgomery High School and had been employed at Crawford Industries. Andy was a talented musician. He enjoyed playing the guitar for many years with Blackhawk and Eclipse and with his wife Debbie and brother John. Andy loved being on the water with family and friends, enjoying many years of boating at Dale Hollow, Cumberland Lake, and Monroe. He also loved riding his Honda Shadow motorcycle. He will be missed by a loving family and many friends.

Andy was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Sally (Games) Lacy and his stepfather, Bob Pickering.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Brinson - Lacy; father, Roy Lacy of Indianapolis; step-son, Michael McCord (Teresa) of Indianapolis; brother, John Lacy of Lafayette; sisters, Amy Johnson (Chad) of Crawfordsville and Connie Casselman (Dave) of New Jersey; grandson, Thomas McCord; niece and nephew, Donovan and Ally.

Friends and family will gather on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, 4 to 8 p.m., in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service and an opportunity to share memories to celebrate Andy’s life will begin at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2013, in the funeral home.
