Angelica Cano Garcia

Angelica Cano Garcia, 51, passed away at IU Health West Hospital on April 3, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico on August 4, 1972, to the late Francisco Cano Quintanilla and Angelina Garcia Lara. She graduated from Fray Pedro de Gante and earned her bachelor's degree from UNIVA. Angelica married Sergio R. Perez Cuevas on December 20, 1996, and he survives. 

Angelica worked as an accountant for 10 years before working as a cafeteria aid at Avon Middle School where she was currently employed. She enjoyed cycling, walking, and being outdoors. Angelica loved cooking for her family, and above all, she was a loving and devoted mother and wife. 

Angelica was preceded in death by her parents. 

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Sergio R. Perez Cuevas; son, Sergio A. Perez Cano; daughters, Karime R. Perez Cano, Camila N. Perez Cano; sister, Raquel I. Cano Garcia (husband, Adalberto Gaxiola Lopez); nieces, Belen Gaxiola Cano, Mariana Gaxiola Cano; father-in-law, Victor R. Perez Jimenez; and mother-in-law, Acela L. Cuevas Esparza.
