Arlene Featherston

93, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022. Arlene loved to travel and spent the winters with her husband in Vegas for many years. She loved to gamble and many times found herself left behind in a casino while her husband went hiking. Arlene was very involved in Scouts when her children were younger and enjoyed participating in their activities. She like to play card, particularly Euchre & Rook. She also could be found playing a game or 2 of BINGO at the Senior Center. Her family was extremely close and they spend a lot of time together, which she loved.

Arlene is survived by her children; Jerry Featherston and Rebecca (Allen) Willard, grandchildren; Jeri Lynn (Vince) Colonna, Lee Featherston, Melissa (Brandon) Simmons and Samuel (Alisha) Willard, great-grandchildren; Sydney Simmon, Dylan Simmons, Alexis Willard and Daniel Willard.

Arlene is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 74 years; James W. Featherston, son; Daniel Featherston and 8 siblings.

A private family graveside service will take place on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Mooresville Cemetery at 10:00am.
