Avis I. Clark

Avis Irene Clark, 85, long time resident of Mooresville, passed away October 22, 2020. Avis was born January 16, 1935, Bloomfield, Indiana, to the late Bert and Mary (Smith) Fry. She married the love of her life Roy Ellis Clark on December 28,1952, who preceded her in death.

Avis was a member of Mooresville Free Methodist Church. She worked 13 years as a doctor assistant in Mooresville. She later worked for Damar Homes as a night manager. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Roy E. (Shelley L.) Clark II, Sharon K. (Larry B.) Saucerman, and Debbie L. (Keith E.) Thomas; sisters, Joyce Meadows, Dianne (Tim) Todd, and Linda (Bill) Robinson; grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew, Anthony, Jared, Zachery, and Ethan; and great grandchildren, Vincent, Ruby, and Logan.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate Avis’s life on Monday, October 26, 2020, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville; service will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
