Barbara A Young

Barbara A. Young, 79 of Mooresville, passed away January 26, 2015 at Meadow Lakes in Mooresville. Barbara was born May 16, 1935 in Indianapolis to the late Grover and Opal (Davis) Ferguson. She was a member of the VFW Post #1111 in Mooresville where she also enjoyed working as a bartender for a number of years. Survivors include her children, Ernest C. Young II of Indianapolis, Mark A. Young of Beech Grove, Kathy McCutcheon of Bloomington and Susan Spears of Irvington, KY; 16 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest Cecil Young, her daughter, Kay Mcneely and two grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29 in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30 at the funeral home.
