Barbara G. Wiggins
85, of Mooresville, passed away on November 3, 2021 at The Waters of Martinsville. Barbara was born on August 15, 1936, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Ruth Alice (West) and John W. Peacock.

Barbara graduated with a master’s degree from Indiana University. She then embarked on a career as a teacher for Sanders Elementary in Wayne Township for 33 years. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church, Ski Club, Indiana Bicycle Club, and the Order of the Eastern Star in her younger years. She was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering on her Indianapolis Indians, Pacers and Colts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lloyd Eugene Wiggins, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter Becky Reeves (John) and grandchildren Eric, Amanda, and Megan.

Friends and family will gather on Saturday, November 13th from 2-4pm to celebrate Barbara’s life, at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with services beginning at 4pm Saturday in the funeral home. According to her wishes, she will be cremated following the services.
