Barbara Joan Lee
88, of Monrovia, passed away on December 22, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with COPD. Barbara was born on July 18, 1933, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Samuel Daniels and Bertha (Richards) Daniels.
Barbara grew up in Indianapolis and was a graduate of George Washington High School. Barbara worked as a seamstress for Clore Mop Company for 12 years. She enjoyed reading, quilting, crocheting. She was a great wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nephew Gary.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Thomas Lee; son Ricky (Julie) Brock; daughters DeEtta (Teddy) Shands, Donna (James) Jeffries, Kathy (Michael-Kevin) Watson, Claytina (Rex) Morley, Tammy Williams; Tom's children, Nancy Smith, Timothy (Jessie) Lee, Virginia Lee (Leon) McCarthy, Brenda Sue Lee; sister Bonnie McKinney-Jordan; nieces Marilyn, Carolyn; nephew Charles and 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
