Barbara Jeanne (Vestal) Sparks

 94, of Mooresville, passed away on April 28, 2024 at Otterbein Senior Living in Franklin. Barbara was born on December 15, 1929 in Mooresville, Indiana to the late C.A. Vestal and Mary Ellen (Wiles) Vestal.

Barbara worked as the office administrator for many years at Sparks Oil Company. Barbara was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Mooresville, where she was active in the choir and playing the organ. She was also a member of the Kappa Kappa Sigma sorority in Mooresville. In her spare time, she enjoyed music, reading, camping, and traveling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Robert W. Sparks; a son Fred Sparks; sisters Lillian Michael, and Mary Lou Storm.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Dustin Sparks, Nicole Robinson, Andrea West; great grandchildren Grant Robinson, Owen Robinson, Haley Robinson, Jackson Sparks, and McKenzie Sparks. 
 
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Barbara’s life on Monday, May 6^th at 11:00am, at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with calling Monday, May 6^th from 10:00am until the services at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Mooresville Cemetery.
