Betty Louise Lee

June 22, 1925 — January 1, 2016

Betty Louise Lee, 90 of Martinsville, passed away January 1, 2016 while visiting her daughter in Virginia. She was born June 22, 1925 in Henry County to the late Roy and Anna McDaniel. Betty was a homemaker for most of her life. On August 31, 1946 she was united in marriage to W. Loren Lee; he precedes her in death.

Survivors include her two children, Charles “Bob” Lee of Martinsville and Debra (Jerry) Starling of Virginia; four grandchildren, Robert Lee of Martinsville, Christy Lee-Lubs of Whiteland, Michelle Starling-Wells of Virginia and Michael Starling of Texas; five great grandchildren, Cierra Rose Choate, Bryson Robert Lee, Brody Russell Lee, Aidan Wayne Wells and Lucas Lee Wells.

Rev. Stanley Icenogle will conduct the funeral service on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Rush County.
