Beverley A. Coleman

Beverley A. Coleman, 68, Mooresville, died September 9, 2014, in Kindred Hospital, Greenwood. Mrs. Coleman was born July 17, 1946, in Dearborn, Michigan, to the late Robert W. Smith and Carrie Madeline (Gustafson) Nance, who survives.

She graduated from Edsel Ford High School in 1964. She had been a resident of Mooresville, Indiana for the past 45 years. Beverley was a member of Mt. Gilead Christian Church, Mooresville. She was involved in homeopathic medicine and herbal remedies for years and had helped many people with their health. She also enjoyed all kinds of crafts and was an accomplished cook. Above all, Beverley was strongly devoted to her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Coleman, to whom she was united in marriage October 7, 1967; mother, Madeline Nance of Atlanta; children, Sherry Grubbs (David) of Fort Wayne, Tim Coleman of Mooresville, and Kelley Pumphrey (Matt) of Indianapolis; brother, Chuck Smith of Augusta, Georgia; sister, Peggy Redwine (Robert) of Atlanta, Georgia; special aunt, Esther Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild.

The memorial service will begin at 5 p.m., Monday, September 15, 2014, in Mt. Gilead Christian Church, 6019 E. State Road 144, Mooresville, with calling there from 3 p.m. until services. Cremation will take place at the Morgan County Crematory, Mooresville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Quality of Life Fund c/o The Community Foundation of Morgan County, 56 N. Main Street, Martinsville, IN 46151. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
