Bonnie Joanne Scott
88, of Mooresville, passed away November 10, 2020 at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville. Bonnie was born September 22, 1932 in Chicago, IL to the late Pauline (Schmidt) and Vaughn Benjamin. On April 22, 1950, she was united in marriage to her loving Husband and best friend, Laurel H. “Scotty” Scott, who preceded her in death in 2017.
Bonnie worked as an administrative assistant for WABCO (Westinghouse Air Brake Company) and later Rolls Royce, before retiring. Strong in her faith, she was a member of Grace Church in Camby. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cross stitch, gardening and was a former member of the Plainfield Chapter of The Eastern Star #414.
A loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, she will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Daile, Norman, Gordon, Vaughn, Sharon and Sandy.
She is survived by her daughter, Sinda L. (Patrick) Feagan of Mooresville; sister, Arlene Howard of San Jose, California; three grandchildren, David (Angela) Bales, Dale (Sara) Bales, and Dana (Chris) Chaney; and five great grandchildren, Kristen Miller, Caroline Bales, Ashley Bales, Adam Bales, and Natalie Bales.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Bonnie Scott on Sunday, November 15th from 2-6pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 16th at 11am, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville. All guests attending visitation and/or services will be required to wear a mask at all times in an effort to promote a safe environment.
