Branden D. Horton

Branden D. Horton, 25, Mooresville, passed away September 5, 2016. Branden was born January 12, 1991, in Indianapolis.

He graduated from Mooresville High School in 2009 and attended Ball State University and IUPUI. Branden had studied business and had big dreams and aspirations for a successful future. As a student at Mooresville, he played basketball all four years. He loved cars, playing golf, and working out. He always enjoyed his trips to visit his grandparents in Florida. A gentle, kind, and loving spirit, Branden’s memory will be cherished forever by his loving family and many friends.

Survivors include his mother, Susan (McCreary) Horton of Mooresville; father, Gary A. Horton of Mooresville; brother, Eric C. Horton of Mooresville; maternal grandparents, Harold and Shirley McCreary of Mooresville; paternal grandmother, Virginia A. Horton of Camby; great grandmother, Claire Burke of Winter Haven, Florida; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends and family will gather on Thursday, September 8, 2016, 4 to 8 p.m., in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Pastor Terry Crist will officiate Branden’s funeral service on Friday, 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
