Brenda Haywood, 67, Mooresville, died March 31, 2013. Miss Haywood was born September 7, 1945, in Columbus, Kentucky, to the late Ted and B. Louise (Jones) Stone.
Brenda was a graduate of Harry E. Wood High School. She was a proud mom to her four children and more recently worked for Home Instead Senior Services. She also worked as a dispatcher for various trucking firms. Brenda enjoyed various arts and crafts, including quilting, painting, and sewing. She was an avid gardener and liked listening to country music. Brenda had been a member of the Eagles Lodge in Mooresville. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Robin Haywood of Mississippi, Martin Haywood of Mooresville, Jeanne Haywood of Camby, and Kelly Haywood of Camby; brothers, Larry Stone of Madison and Ted Stone of New Castle; sisters, Mary Stephens of Indianapolis, Opal Johnson of Greenwood, and Lisa Cunning of Colorado; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; former spouse, Jerry Haywood of Paragon; former daughters-in-law, Dawn Chastain and Cindy Haywood.
The funeral service will begin at 12 Noon, Saturday, April 6, 2013, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time.
