Brenda K. Watson
63, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 27, 2020 at IU Methodist Hospital, surrounded by her family. Brenda was born on June 10, 1957 in Martinsville, Indiana to the late Albert and Dorothy (Creech) Ballard.
Brenda was a longtime resident of Morgan County, growing up in Monrovia and attending Monrovia High School. She worked for Gray Brothers Cafeteria for 32 years as a cashier and later as a manager, retiring in 2015, when her health would no longer allow her to work. Family was everything to Brenda. She enjoyed having family gatherings where she would cook and dote on her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to the white sand beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, David Watson; daughters, Megan (William) Adams, Melissa (Mark) Madsen; sisters Carolyn Estes, Lucy (Charles) Carter, Sue Ellen (Gene) Chappell, Bonnie (Joe) Powell; brothers Jimmy Ballard, David Ballard, Chuck Ballard; grandchildren Devin Wilcher, Riley Potts, Tyler Padgett, Markus Madsen III, Elijah Padgett, Will Adams; great grandchildren Zophia Potts, Ameyah Hayes, Cohen Wilcher, Keaton Wilcher and former husband John Boner.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at a later date. Final arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
