Brian D. Sizemore

51 of Shirley, passed away on September 8, 2022, at Henry County Hospital in New Castle. Brian was born on December 9, 1970 in Martinsville, Indiana to Simon Sizemore and Patricia (Lynn) Sizemore.

Brian grew up in Indianapolis attending Washington High School. He was mechanically inclined and worked in heating and air conditioning installations and repair, for various companies. A talented musician, Brian was a natural at playing the guitar, banjo, mandolin, and bass. He also enjoyed Dodge muscle cars, particularly his favorite, a 1969 Dodge Dart GT. He will be remembered as an easy going, kind, loving, gentle, soft spoken man, who will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Sizemore and his wife Kristy Sizemore.

He is survived by his children, Scott Sizemore, Jacob Sizemore, Julie Sizemore; stepchildren Vanessa Pruitt, Brandon Pruitt; father Simon (Judy) Sizemore; sister Teri (Jim) Cosat and 2 grandchildren, whom he adored.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Brian’s life on Monday, September 12th from 12pm-2pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with services beginning at 2:00pm Monday in the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Steve Pitman. Burial will follow the services in West Newton Cemetery.
