Bruce W. Bauer

Bruce W. Bauer, 57, Monrovia, died peacefully May 8, 2013, in his residence. Mr. Bauer was born August 22, 1955, in Indianapolis, to the late Robert E. and Verlyne M. (Bennett) Bauer.

Bruce graduated from Monrovia High School in 1973 and proudly served in the United States Army. He was a self-employed handyman through the years. Bruce enjoyed golfing, playing pool and darts, and especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a great story teller and will be missed by a loving family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Leo J. Bauer, III.

Survivors include his daughters, Erin V. Wood of Mooresville, Kimberly A. McLin of Indianapolis, and Samantha K. Sparks of Ohio; brothers, Robert E. Bauer, Jr. of Martinsville, Jeffrey T. Bauer of Beech Grove, Fred B. Bauer of South Carolina, and Dale P. Bauer of Mooresville; eleven grandchildren.

The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 11, 2013, in the Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2013.
