C. Ray Jones

C. Ray Jones, 65, Camby, died January 23, 2013. Mr. Jones was born July 11, 1947, in Mayor, West Virginia, to the late A. Keith and Audrey (Underwood) Jones.

He attended Mooresville High School and worked for 35 years for Boylan Sales, where he managed the Greenfield location. In addition, Mr. Jones was a member of the Martinsville Evening Lions Club. An avid fisherman, he was a member of the Martinsville Bass Club. He also enjoyed all kinds of hunting and recently enjoyed finding a good deal while attending yard sales. He will be missed by a loving family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Kay (Twyman) Jones, to whom he was united in marriage May 2, 1966; brothers, Charles K. Jones of Camby, Allen Lee Jones of Rockwood, Tennessee, and Paul W. Jones of Camby.

Friends and family will gather on Sunday, January 27, 2013, 2 to 5 p.m., in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The graveside service will begin at 10 a.m., Monday, January 28, 2013, in West Newton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
