Cathy Rene Lester

Cathy Rene Lester, 56, Mooresville, died November 9, 2012. Cathy was born December 24, 1955, in Bloomington, to the late Donald and Deloris (Chambers) Sinn.

Cathy graduated from Mooresville High School and did nurses’ training at St. Francis Hospital. She worked as a nurse for 35 years, being employed at Morgan Hospital, Clarian/IU Health, and most recently was the Data Coordinator for Clarian Bariatric Services. In addition, Cathy co-owned Mooresville Liquors with her husband. She enjoyed cooking, music, and was an avid reader. She and Larry enjoyed traveling the country on their Harley Davidson. Cathy enjoyed the outdoors. Cathy took great pride in always making the family house a home; she enjoyed decorating for all of the holidays. Cathy will be missed by her loving family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Sinn.

Survivors include her husband, Larry N. Lester, to whom she was united in marriage April 21, 1981; son, Jason B. Lester (Heather) of Terre Haute; daughter, Elizabeth A. Lester of Mooresville; sisters, Donna McClure, Debbie Ryker of Greenwood, and Brenda Kraus of Mooresville.

The memorial service will begin at 3 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 1 p.m. Cremation will take place at the Morgan County Crematory, Mooresville.
