Charles H. Hicks

80, of Franklin, passed away on March 11 2018 at the Otterbein Franklin Senior Living Center. Charles was born on February 22, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Ray Hugh Hicks and Wanda G. (Franklin) Hicks.

Charles was a bus driver for Eminence School System for 50 years. He also hauled grain, coal, stone as well as custom hay and straw baling for many local farmers. He was also a 50 year member of the Eminence Masonic Lodge #440 and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Alan J. Hicks.

He is survived by a son; Charles R. Hicks, brothers; Jim (Neta) Hicks and Wayland (Karen) Hicks.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 14th at 2:00pm in Shumaker Cemetery, Eminence, Indiana.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
