Charles Monroe “Bo” Henson
74, of Mooresville, passed away on November 7, 2021 at IU Health West Hospital. Bo was born on September 13, 1947, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Tommie and Susanna (Collins) Henson.
Bo worked on the Railroad for 32 years. After retiring, he stayed busy working construction, building houses. Faith and Family were the cornerstones of Bo’s life. He was a long-time faithful member of Victory Baptist Church in Mooresville and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids. Additionally, he enjoyed collecting guns, pocketknives, vegetable gardening and driving his old truck. He will be greatly missed by a loving family and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Butch, Johnny, Tommie Jr. and Willie, and a sister, Molly Jackson.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Henson; daughters Candice York, Shelly (Darin) Parish, Boheni (Scott) Hines; sons Chris (Courtney) Henson, Kelly Brown, Scotty Brown; brothers, Don, Dennis, and Joe Henson; sisters, Eva Phillips, Patricia Smith, Ruth Henson, and Donna Henson; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather for Charles’ Life Celebration™ visitation on Thursday, November 11th from 4-8pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 12th at 11am in the funeral home, with Pastor Tony York, officiating. Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery.
