Charles R. Ragan

Charles R. Ragan, 84, Mooresville, died October 29, 2013, in St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. Mr. Ragan was born November 15, 1928, in Russiaville, Indiana, to the late Charles E. and Ines (Rubert) Ragan.

He retired from Bridgeport Brass after many years of devoted service to the company. Charlie enjoyed spending time with his dog, Snowball and attending events at the Mooresville Senior Center.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lola B. (Morris) Ragan and his second wife, Allie Pauline Ragan; brother, Thomas Ragan; step-son, Richard Disney.

Survivors include his daughters, Kathy Marine (Mike) of Mooresville and Trudy Wallace (Jeff) of Mooresville; stepchildren, Michael Disney of Indianapolis, Daniel Day of Texas, and Alva Day of Cumberland, Judy Scholtes of Indianapolis, Peggy Disney Foley of Camby, and Joyce Thurman of Indianapolis; sister, Madonna Fulbright of Florida; 20 grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
