Christine Rash Ingram, 81, Spencer, died November 7, 2011 in Owen Valley Health Campus. Mrs. Ingram was born December 2, 1929, in Stanford, Kentucky.
Mrs. Ingram worked for Bradford Woods as a cook for 17 years. Previously she worked for Mr. Dan’s in Indianapolis and as a cook at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. Mrs. Ingram loved baking and was known for making excellent buckeyes, chocolate peanut balls, and all sorts of delicious candy. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Ingram; sons, Luther and James Rash; daughter, Phyllis Chapman; sisters, Betty, Odessa, and Mary; brothers, James and Johnny Curtis.
Survivors include her sons, Clyde Rash of Spencer and Sherman Rash of Mooresville; daughters, Judy Bewley of Patricksburg and Louise Payton of Camby; sister, Peggy Cold of Indianapolis; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2011, in the West Newton Worship and Youth Center, with calling there from 11 a.m. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery. Visit www.carlislebranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
