Christopher David Bowman

Christopher David Bowman, 46, of Wilbur, died on September 6, 2012. He was born August 21, 1966, in Danville, to Terry Bowman and Linda (Sims) Bowman Baker.

Chris graduated in 1984 from Martinsville High School and currently worked in the shipping and receiving department for Quaker in Indianapolis for over 25 years. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends at the family cabin in Odon. Above all, Chris enjoyed and cherished being a father to his children, Alex and Kenzie.

He preceded in death by his uncle, David Bowman.

Survivors include his children, Makenzie and Alex Bowman; mother, Linda Bowman (Rick Baker) of Martinsville; father, Terry Bowman of Odon; brother, Greg Bowman (Suzette) of Martinsville; aunt, Christy Vaught of Odon, niece, Rayna Bowman of Martinsville; nephews, Cody and Jeramiah Bowman of Martinsville; parents-in-law, Jeff and Cindy Cornelius; canine companion, Ryder.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2012, in the Walnut Hill Cemetery, Odon. Funeral and cremation arrangements are being handled by Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville and the Morgan County Crematory.
