Clifford “Bud” Crusenberry, 69, Mooresville, died January 9, 2015, in St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. Bud was born May 30, 1945, in High Splint, Kentucky, to the late Clifford and Eva (Ewing) Crusenberry.
He attended Mooresville High School and proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. He worked early on as a Mooresville Police Officer and later worked for many years as a computer programmer for Indianapolis Power & Light. Bud loved watching western movies and also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino. Devoted to his family, he never missed a meal out with his daughters and sisters.
Bud was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Crusenberry.
Survivors include his daughters, Tarrah Crusenberry (Aaron White) of Denver, Colorado and Tracy Crusenberry of Mooresville; brother, Enos Crusenberry; sisters, Veda N. Ely of Pennington Gap, Virginia, Tincie Payne of Mooresville, Shirley R. Trusty of Mooresville, and Lena B. Beard of Mooresville; one step-grandchild, Jayda White; former spouse, Donna Edwards; a large host of nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will gather on Sunday, January 11, 2015, 1 to 3 p.m., in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Pastor Terry Crist will officiate the 3 p.m. service on Sunday. The committal service will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015, 10 a.m. in the Mooresville Cemetery.
