Craig Johnson

Craig Johnson, 52, of Mooresville, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Franciscan Health Mooresville. He was born in Danville on October 16, 1970, to Lloyd Johnson and Janice (Shaw) Smith. Craig graduated from Avon High School in 1989 and worked 32 years as a cook at The Coachman Restaurant and Lounge in Plainfield.

Craig was an avid gamer. He enjoyed computer, video, and card games, especially Dungeons & Dragons. He also liked reading sci-fi novels and playing golf. Craig was a kind-hearted, generous man that all his family and friends will miss.

Craig is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Johnson. Survivors include his mother, Janice Smith; brothers, Brian (Tammy) Johnson, and Joshua Smith; nieces, Ashley (Alfred) Warren, and Mackenzie Johnson; great-nephews, Reece and Elliot Warren; great-niece, Quinn Warren; and many friends.
