Cynthia "Cindy" (Crist) Jennings

Cynthia “Cindy” (Crist) Jennings, 52 of Mooresville and formerly of Greenwood, passed away peacefully while she was sleeping during the early morning hours on Friday, October 9, 2015 at her home. She was born October 23, 1962 in Indianapolis to Richard N. and Linda L. (Wines) Crist; her parents survive.

Cindy worked in accounts receivable at Taylor Distributors of Indiana for five years. Due to her failing health she was forced to stop working in 2013. She was a member of Greenwood Christian Church.

A beautiful person inside and out, Cindy’s vibrant personality filled a room immediately when she walked in. She was a people pleaser and was always thinking of others and making sure that her two children were taken care of. Cindy enjoyed spending time with her loving immediate and extended family, always enjoying the family “pow-wow.”

Along with her parents, other survivors include her two children, Eliot R. Jennings of Greenwood and Alexa R. Jennings of Greenwood; her brother, Tim Crist of Mooresville; her sister and care giver; Sherri L. (Phillip) Tapp of Columbus; numerous extended family members and countless friends.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Monday, October 12 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
