Dale T. Bagwell, 82 Mooresville, died July 25, 2013, in St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. Mr. Bagwell was born April 20, 1931, in Cass County, to the late Athel and Lelia (Vernon) Bagwell.
He graduated from Royal Center High School and served in the Indiana National Guard. Mr. Bagwell enjoyed a 30 year career as a construction supervisor and carpenter for DeJager Construction Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was a devoted member of the Mooresville Church of God, where he enjoyed being active in mission work. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending time with his loving family.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Thora Goodrich.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Phyllis (King) Bagwell; children, Arthur Wood, Arlana Wood, Max Wood, Krystal Simmons, and Stephen Bagwell; daughters, Cindy, Lydia, and Rachel Bagwell; sisters, Cletha A. Elliott and Jane Kennell; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2013, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 3 to 6 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2013. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery, Camby. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International or to the Churches in Mission.
