Danna Rose VanOsdale, 70, Mooresville, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on January 12, 2015. Danna Rose was born in Bloomington, November 15, 1944, to the late Daniel R. and Olive (Parks) Hill.
Danna attended Ball State University and worked as a dispatch for North American Van Lines for 14 years. She also worked as an administrative assistant for Verizon and United Airlines, and then retired in the fall of 2006. Always enjoying the outdoors, Danna was a Master Gardener.
Survivors include her husband, Doug, to whom she was united in marriage October, 3, 1981; sons, Dr. Stephen B. VanOsdale (Marcie) and their daughter, Milynna, of Texas and Dan W. VanOsdale and his daughters, Taylor & Lauren, of Mooresville; sister, Darlene Pletcher of Texas; and her two dogs, Sparky & Shadow.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate Danna’s life on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 3 to 8 p.m., in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the Waynedale Baptist Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana with calling to begin at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be in the Covington Memorial Gardens.
