David L. Bowling

David L. Bowling, 55, of Martinsville, passed away March 20, 2021 at home. David was born May 25, 1965, in Beech Grove, Indiana, to Garrett and Jessie (Bullington) Bowling.

David was a member of the N.R.A. He loved being in the outdoors such as deer and bear hunting and fishing. David also enjoy building guns and collecting knives. He had a joy for music. David could just about pick up any instrument and play such as the banjo, guitar, and mandolin. His favorite genre of music was bluegrass, Christian, and bagpipes. His pride and joy was his family. He adored his children and grandchildren. David was known as a selfless man and will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his father, Garrett Bowling.

Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Patricia Anne Bowling, children, Patricia Lynn (Johnny) Stogsdill, Joshua Garrett (Rachael) Bowling, and Jacob David Bowling; siblings, Ronald (Lisa) Bowling and Anita (Brian) Turpin; grandchildren, Elijah, Jordan, Maddisyn, James Lee, Hailey, Olivia, Averie, Emery, and Kole.
