David P. Shirar
73, of Robinson, IL formerly of Mooresville, passed away on March 16, 2021 at home after a brief battle with cancer. David was born on October 29, 1947 in Lafayette, IN to the late Juanita (McDaniel) Wildermuth and Paul Dean Shirar.

A true servant, he was always willing to lend his skills, often doing home improvement projects, hanging lights, wood working, building and repairing things for little or no pay, just to simply help someone in need.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Steffy.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy E. (Potts) Shirar; children Leslie Burris, Ben Shirar, Lyndie (Michael) Howard; brothers Jack Shirar; sister Susan Ping; nephew Adam Potts; grandchildren Lexi (Logan) Sallee, Taelar Burris (Jimmy Dempsey), Mason Burris, Deagan Shirar, Tori Steffy, Maggie Howard; great grandchild Penelope Sallee, with another one on the way.
