David Wayne Payne

David Wayne Payne, 60, Mooresville, passed away December 13, 2022. Wayne was born April 11, 1962, in Martinsville, to the late David Thomas Payne and his loving mother, Tincie (Crusenberry) Payne, who survives.

Wayne attended Mooresville High School. He was a longtime truck driver, having worked for Jessup, Allen Body Shop, and McKnight. Wayne was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino. Wayne was very attentive to caring for his mother, Tincie. He will be fondly remembered by his loving family and friends.

Wayne is survived by his mother, Tincie Payne; brothers, Michael Payne and Steven Payne; children, Andrew and Cortnie; two grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, December 16, 2022, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
