Dawn Sweet Adams

Dawn Sweet Adams, 45, Mooresville, passed away peacefully July 31, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Dawn was born January 23, 1971, in Indianapolis.

She attended Mooresville High School and was a proud mom and homemaker through the years. Her pride and joy were her children and more recently her grandchildren. Dawn also enjoyed crocheting blankets that she donated to those less fortunate. Above all, family was most important to Dawn. She will be missed by a loving family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, George E. “Bud” Sweet.

Survivors include her mother, Debbi (Poe) Sweet; children, Blaine Bishop of Martinsville, Christine Dickerson of Mooresville, and Jack Adams, III of Mooresville; sister, Deedee Taylor of Mooresville; grandchildren, Novah, Lunah, Axxell, Avalynn, Penelope, and Scarlett; nieces, Brooke, Brittany, Ashley, and Amy Taylor; several great nieces and nephews; former spouse, Jack Adams, Jr. of Mooresville.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate Dawn’s life on Saturday, August 6, 2016, 11 a.m. in New Life Community Wesleyan Church, 4356 East State Road 144, Mooresville.
