Deborah K. Pieper, 70 of Indianapolis, passed away September 8, 2020. Deborah was born October 1, 1949, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Dewey and Delpha Nuckolls. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Terrell G. Pieper on May 6, 1988.
Debbie was a member of Lakeview Church for over 60 years, and had a great love for the Lord. Cooking for her family was one of her many joys in life, for all occasions. Debbie enjoyed a variety of games, such as game shows and card games like euchre. Debbie enjoyed camping and watching movies but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Barnhart.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Terrell Pieper of Indianapolis, daughters, Lori (Dwayne) Pruitt of Mooresville and Jill Mabry of Speedway; stepchildren, Derek (Beth) Pieper of Danville and Crystle Pieper of Fortville; a brother, Mark (Catherine) Nuckolls of Indianapolis; sisters, Linda (Tom) Chiado of Terre Haute, Sheila (Earl) Cooper of Indianapolis, Gail Gates of Indianapolis, and Beth (Jim) Kistner of Bargersville; grandchildren, Kelsey (Ryan) Wells, Luke Pruitt, Rian Mabry, and Reegan Mabry; step grandchildren, Liam, Oliver, Norah and Paislee Pieper.
Visitation will be Friday, September 11, 2020, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory; service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Visit www.CarlisleBranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
