Della Christine Moore

Della Christine Moore, 81, lifelong Morgan County resident, passed away peacefully October 31, 2021. Della was born November 26, 1939, to the late Ira and Gladys (Mitchell) Moore.

Della’s innocence and youth like demeanor will be forever cherished by her loving family and friends. She loved music, especially hearing “Jesus Loves Me” and also spent plenty of time enjoying coloring books. In recent years, Della’s circle of friends grew as she began spending more time with some younger great nieces and nephews. Della will be fondly remembered by all who were better for knowing her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sibling, William F. and Virgil D. Shepherd, Jane M. Green, Clara Jean Moore, and Thelma M. Gregory.

She is survived by a sister, Martha L. Collier and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
