Diana Lynn Taylor, 66, life-long Morgan County resident, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Mooresville. She was born on August 22, 1956 in Indianapolis. She is the only child born to the late Donald R. and Suzanne (Barkdoll) Barnard.
She graduated from Martinsville High School with the class of 1974. A few months later, she married her high school sweetheart, Gregory Lynn Taylor, on September 30, 1974. She was a dedicated homemaker and took great pride in caring for her two children, Mark and Roseanne.
Diana Lynn was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge in Martinsville. She greatly enjoyed music and movies. She and her husband have an extensive movie collection with many different genres. Additionally, she was an animal lover.
She is survived by her loving family and friends including her husband of nearly 49 years, Gregory Taylor of Mooresville; son, Mark (wife, Twyla) Taylor of Mooresville; daughter, Roseanne Taylor (husband, Lennie Dewey) of Mooresville; grandchildren, Brian, Karissa, Gregory James, Catlin, Destiny, and Jayson; and great grandchild, Scarlett.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Life Celebration® Home in Mooresville. The funeral procession will leave Carlilse-Branson at 12:00 noon for Centerton Cemetery where she will be laid to rest following a graveside service. In keeping with her wishes, her earthly remains have been cremated.
