Dillon Ray Meadows, 31, of Indianapolis, passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at home. He was born to Timothy Ray Meadows and Tammy Iona (Herrell) Meadows on January 19, 1993 in Kokomo, Indiana.
Artistically talented, Dillon was a gifted drawer and was constantly doodling. He also enjoyed a wide range of music from classic country to rap. Additionally, he enjoyed playing video games including Call of Duty and racing games. His talents extended into the kitchen as he was a great cook and fantastic grill master. He even was responsible for the family Thanksgiving turkey this year which was delicious and juicy.
He will be deeply missed by a host of family and friends including his mom and dad, Tammy Meadows and Mark Roe of Indianapolis; daughter, Ariella Meadows of Anderson; brothers, Nathan Miller of Southport, Bryce (wife, Kim) Roe of Plainfield, and Shawn (wife, Jennifer) Roe of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Kailee Meadows of Bunker Hill; and grandmother, Sue Meadows of Peru.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rosie and Max Herrell, Elnora Meadows, and Don Meadows.
Family and friends are invited to Dillon’s Life Celebration® Visitation on Saturday, December 14th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. Following the visitation, Dillon’s earthly remains will be cremated.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to help those like Dillon who battle diabetes. Contributions may be made to the Breakthrough T1D organization (formerly JDRF) online at https://www.breakthrought1d.org/.
