Donald E. Levin

Donald E. Levin, 62, Mooresville, died September 6, 2011, in St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. Don was born July 21, 1949, in Indianapolis, to the late Donald L. and Mildred (Keys) Levin.

Don was a 1967 graduate of Mooresville High School. He worked for Kendrick Hospital for many
years and also for Morgan Hospital & Medical Center. He later returned to Kendrick and retired from St. Francis Hospital, Mooresville in 2008. He was a member of Bethel Friends Meeting for many years. Don enjoyed any and all things having to do with John Deere. He also liked watching Western movies, Charlet cattle, dirt track racing, and was especially fond of the family dog, Lucy.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Heavrin Levin; adopted children, Eric and Jeffrey Levin; step-children, David, Anthony, Joshua, and Kyla Heavrin; special cousins, Edward and Leona Keys; seven step grandchildren.

Friends and family will gather on Sunday, September 11, 2011, 2 to 6 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011, 11 a.m., in Bethel Friends Meeting, 10492 N. Bethel Church Road, Mooresville. Burial will follow in Bethel Friends Church Cemetery.
