Doris M. Sweet

Doris M. Sweet, age 80, of Mooresville, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015. Born January 13, 1935 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Myrtle (Daily) Anderson. Her brothers, Buddy, Earl, Harry and Tommy; her sisters, Ola, Teny, Helen, Mary Jane and Ruth along with one grandchild and two great grandchildren also preceded her in death.
Doris retired from Nice-Pak in quality control with over 20 years of service. She was a member of Mooresville Free Methodist Church. She loved gospel singings, missions with the church, crocheting, and quilting.
Survivors include her children, Kenneth Sweet, Robert (Diane) Thomas, Richard (Jan) Thomas, Danny (Pat) Thomas, and Nancy (Jim) Gray; her 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Jeff Newton on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with burial at White Lick Cemetery.
