Doris Mae Gregory

Doris Mae Gregory, 88, Mooresville, died May 10, 2014, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Mooresville. Ms. Gregory was born August 7, 1925, in Bloomington, to the late Arthur and Agnes (Losh) Gregory.

She graduated from Mooresville High School and worked for 30 years as a bookkeeper for Citizens Bank. Ms. Gregory was a longtime member of the Mooresville Church of God and was an avid quilter. She also made stuffed cats and bears to distribute to children at St. Francis Hospital.

Doris was preceded in death by brothers, Albert Gregory, Otis Gregory, and Raymond Gregory.

Survivors include nine nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will begin at 12 noon, Thursday, May 15, 2014, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time.
