Dorothy “Lennie” Dooley, 68, Mooresville, died April 3, 2014, in her residence. She was born November 7, 1945, in Indianapolis, to the late Virgil and Emma Pauline (Brunton) Barry.
Mrs. Dooley graduated from George Washington High School and was a devoted employee at Roadway Express for more than 20 years. She enjoyed keeping up with friends and family on Facebook and was never afraid of sharing an opinion or two. She also enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Dooley, who died in 2009.
Survivors include her children, Danele Sullivan (Mike) of Cloverdale and James Bailey (Peter Mertens) of Plainfield; siblings, David Barry (Pat) of Mooresville, Maureen Wuertz of Indianapolis, Mike “Don” Barry (Bobbie) of Mooresville, and Debbie Verhines (Steve) of Mooresville; grandchildren, Cagan, Cara, Cassidy, and Caden.
Friends and family will gather on Monday, April 7, 2014, 12 Noon – 2 p.m., in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
