Douglas Matthew Simpson, 26, Indianapolis, died November 11, 2012. Douglas was born May 29, 1986, in Indianapolis.

Doug attended Decatur Central High School. He was employed at Beech Grove Tire, Goodwill and had also worked in the seal coating industry. He enjoyed fishing, loved music, and especially spending time with his children and friends. He also liked to play Play Station 3.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Michael Simpson; step-father, John Raymond Dicus.

Survivors include his wife, Gabrielle Thomas Simpson of Indianapolis; mother, Kimberly Sue Dicus of Beech Grove; children, Michael Jason Simpson of Florida and Kendall Elizabeth Renee Simpson of Indianapolis; sister, Sheena Earl of Beech Grove; father, Ralph V. Simpson, Jr. of Texas.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 11 a.m. Pastor Jeff Newton will officiate.
