Marlowe Mack “Dutch” Fulk, 91, of Mooresville, passed away suddenly October 30, 2020. Dutch was born October 19, 1929, Washington, Indiana, to the late Byrt R. and Mary E. (Clark) Fulk.
Dutch proudly served in the United States Army. He was a truck driver for 50 years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of Teamsters Local 135 for 20 years, Mooresville Masonic Lodge # 78 and Worthington V.F.W. Dutch was also a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church. He was a former member of the Mooresville Plan Commission. He donated the “big rock” to the school of Newby and was very proud every time he drove by it. Dutch was an all-around, good guy. He never met a stranger. He was known to take daily drives around to town. If you needed a good joke Dutch was the guy to come to. He is going to be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Delores May Fulk; children, David, Deborah, and Mary Alice Fulk; siblings, Red, Cotton, Vernon, Genevive, Margaret and Jane.
Survivors include his significant other, Wilma Wrightsman; son, Roy Fulk, daughter, Teresa Fulk, one granddaughter, and two grandsons.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate Dutch’s life on Monday, November 2, 2020, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville; service will begin at 7 p.m. Graveside service will be Tuesday November 3, 2020, 12 p.m. at Worthington Cemetery, Worthington, Indiana.
