Edith Couch-Jones

Edith J. Couch-Jones, age 77, of Mooresville, passed away Friday, January 2, 2015. Born March 30, 1937, in Manchester, KY, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Rosetta (Hubbard) Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Couch and by her second husband, Michael Jones.
Edith retired from Lucent Technologies after 33 years of service. She also was a member of Life Line Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two sons, Ronald (Lisa) Couch and Jim Couch; her sister, Ella Mae; her grandchildren, Rhonda, Megan (Pat), Pam and John, along with her great grandchildren, Alexia, Kirsten and Abbey.
Friends and family will gather for visitation Monday, January 5, 2015 at Life Line Baptist Church, 13387 North Slideoff Road, Camby, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Britton Funeral Home, 27 Old Highway 421, Manchester, KY 40962, with visitation from 11 a.m. Burial will be at Beech Creek Cemetery.
