Edward A. Eubank, 79 of Shoals, Indiana and formerly of Mooresville passed away suddenly on the evening of Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Ed was born September 19, 1935 in Indianapolis to the late Mitchell and Lena Rose (Fraker) Eubank.
In 1955, Ed established Eubank Heating and Air Conditioning in Mooresville, proudly serving his community for many years, he retired in 1987.
In June of 1980 Ed was married to Joyce A. (Harper) Eubank and she survives. Other survivors include his five daughters, Darleah M. (Greg) Winsted of Plainfield, Madonna E. Dare of Avon, Tamara J. (Tony) Allison of Quincy, Indiana, Melanie A. (James) Fornoff of Eminence and Melinda R. (Jeremy Grimes) Eubank of Indianapolis; two step sons, Gary O. (Nellie) Phillips of Martinsville and Danny L. Phillips of Owen County; 20 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Ed is also preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Hohlt and Thelma Elsbury; Son-In-Law, Troy Dare; grandson, Tyler Dare and his step-daughter, Vickie D. Peed.
Family and friends will gather in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory on Sunday, January 25 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a celebration of Ed’s life to begin 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or Wheeler Mission, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
