Edward Copeland

March 1, 1919 — January 22, 2015

Edward Copeland, age 95, of Mooresville, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at his residence. Born March 1, 1919 in Abilene, KS, he was the son of the late Webb and Pearl (Cook) Copeland. His two brothers, Roy and Joe Copeland also preceded him in death.
Edward was a retired truck driver for Teamsters Local #135 for 18 years. He was an Army veteran and past member of the Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Iva (Hagan) Copeland, whom he married on June 26, 1960; his son, Joseph Copeland; his daughter, Vicki Graham; five grandchildren: Christopher, Kyle, Kevin, Brian and Sean; and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with military honors to follow at White Lick Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. You may visit www.CarlisleBranson.com where you may share a memory with the family or sign the online guest book.
